C4b at the IFIB 2024
We are excited to share that the C4B project was successfully represented by our coordinator CiaoTech and communication, dissemination and exploitation leader PNO Spain, at the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB). The 2024 event took place in Bologna, Italy, and focused on strengthening the circular bioeconomy, with a particular emphasis on industrial biotechnology and its applications in the agro-food sector.
During IFIB 2024, CiaoTech had the opportunity to present the C4B project’s work on developing innovative and fair circular bio-based business models in the agriculture and forestry sectors. These models aim to create a more balanced distribution of power and profits across bio-based value chains, fostering stronger collaborations between primary producers, industry, and other key stakeholders.
As part of the event, the C4B team engaged with leading experts and innovators in the bioeconomy, discussing how the project can contribute to sustainable and equitable value chains. With IFIB 2024’s strong focus on bio-based industries and agro-food innovations, the forum provided an excellent platform to showcase the C4B project’s mission of supporting primary producers and driving sustainable change in Europe’s circular bioeconomy.
CiaoTech and PNO Spain participation at IFIB 2024 further highlights the ongoing efforts of the C4B consortium to bring visibility to innovative solutions that can shape the future of the bioeconomy.
